Worthy of Joy is a Sexual Assault support group for women on Concordia University Irvine’s college campus.

This student-led and University approved group meets bi-weekly in a peer-to-peer setting where women come together to be encouraged and inspired through informative meetings, empowering discussion, and fellowship. The ultimate goal of Worthy of Joy is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, where women are able to come together and continue on in their process of healing from devastating experience(s). People are hungry for love that only God can give…the love that reaches the hearts of the weary and broken, bringing restoration and renewal like never before.

Worthy of Joy is here to remind you that you are worth it.

Always have been, and always will be.

Worthy of Joy is led by mission worker, Reagyn Shoop, a senior at Concordia U, Irvine. Her partnering church is Bethany Lutheran, Long Beach. Starting in 2025, Reagyn will also become the first student and female member on the Coastal Mission Society Governing Board.
